In working with whole plants and botanicals it is possible that small bits of plant particles get left behind. These are non harmful and do not affect the final product.

Yes! Bare Ends Soaps strives to keep as plastic-free as possible with the most minimal use of plastic and single-use plastics.

100% of all packaging used at Bare Ends Soaps reusable, recyclable and/or compostable.

All of my jars and flint glass with metal screw-top lid or repurposable tin.

All soaps come packaged in recyclable decorative paper with paper sticker label.
On occasion, in particularly humid parts of the season, soaps and lotion bars will come wrapped in an extra layer of compostable film to protect from any unnecessary damage.

In the smallest form, you will find 1-2 sleeves of single-use plastic to safely hold and label your free samples included in every order. These can be recycled with your single-use plastics.

Soaps do not melt during shipping in temps under 125° F.

In humid conditions your glycerin soap may sweat. On these occasions soaps are carefully double wrapped in compostable film to avoid any damage to the soap and/or bleeding into the paper and label.

Jarred lotions, salves and creams *may* melt in temps over 90°F. If your lotion or salve has melted during shipping, simply shake your jar and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to restore proper consistency.

Lotion Bars are *not sold* in the summer months to avoid any complications with melting since they do not come in airtight containers. You may find Lotion Bars offered in the fall-early spring months only.

Once packages leave the hands of the seller, they become responsibility of the shipping provider to find its way to you. If anything happens to your package during shipping please be prepared to file a claim with the shipping provider used to deliver your package and the tracking number provided.
